Lake Tahoe Winter Elopement at Cave Rock
This styled Lake Tahoe winter elopement at Cave Rock this past January was chilly but incredibly breathtaking! For this styled shoot we made our way to Cave Rock in Lake Tahoe and made the trek to Cave Rock Overlook arriving just in time to watch the sun set and for the Tahoe blues to come out and play.
Once we reached Cave Rock we stopped at a little view platform overlooking highway 50 and Cave Rock state park to the south. The blues from the crystal blue water below and the beauty of the sky above at blue hour had my heart quite literally leaping out of my chest. Not to mention Ariane and Nick who not only matched the location perfectly but were absolute troopers throughout our entire time together.
As the sun slowly disappeared below the horizon we moved to the other side of this scenic overlook and took in the view of the North-East shore of Lake Tahoe before ending our shoot.
